Summer 2027 Tracks

Annouced below!

The Nebraska Global Experiences Office is thrilled to announce our first study abroad hub - in Mexico City! The program in Mexico City will be offered each May, but the individual tracks within the program may change from time to time to support students with different academic interests! If you have any questions, please contact Marnie Nelson at mnelson38@unl.edu.

These academic goals of these programs are unique with an intentional effort to provide affordable program costs for each track.

Why is this important?

  • Students from different academic pursuits will be studying together in one location.
  • Students will meet and discuss global issues and reflect on academic and cultural visits together.
  • While students will focus on the learning objectives from their track, students will also learn and benefit from the academic content presented on the other tracks.
  • Students will grow and meet peers and faculty members from outside of their academic discipline!

The first iteration of the program was in May 2026, and it has been confirmed to move forward in May 2027!
