Faculty Led Proposals

Not all classrooms have walls

The Global Experiences Office and academic colleges are now accepting proposals for faculty led programs in academic year 2026-27 (Fall 2026 to Summer 2027).

There are two steps to the process:

  1. An initial Concept Proposal outlining ideas and goals; and
  2. A final proposal where program details have been determined.

The Concept Proposal is due on Sunday, March 1. Submission details are different depending on your college/academic unit. Please note the proposal must be reviewed by the college offering the academic credit and, in some circumstances, review and approval may be needed from two colleges/units.

  • College of Arts and Sciences: Please contact Christina Fielder, Senior Director of Advising at cfielder@unl.edu, or Renae Ninneman, Global Experiences Coordinator, at rninneman2@unl.edu for more information and the forms required for the process.
  • College of Business: Please contact Associate Dean Laurie Miller (lmiller29@unl.edu) for more information and the forms required for the process.

For all other colleges/units, please complete the form below and submit by Sunday, March 1.
