My Background
I am originally from Eastern France. I grew up in Metz and Strasbourg, with family roots in Italy and Slovenia. I am a UNK alumnus, College of Art Education. Before joining the Global Experiences team, my latest position was with the US Embassy in Paris assisting Americans traveling and living in France. I developed strong skills in what is needed abroad, and where to secure the necessary information, and learned to be efficient in emergency situations. I am very excited to be part of the team as Assistant Director.
My Study/Work Abroad
I was an international student at the University of Nebraska - Kearney, where I received my Masters degree. While I focused my studies in Arts – graduated from French and American universities - I developed professional experiences through Art Education at UNK, home fragrances with noted French company Esteban, art auction with the world-renowned Christie’s, and the diplomatic and consular world with the U.S. Department of State in Paris. I am passionate about art and creativity, and actively draw and paint, never missing a chance to discover new techniques.
My Ideal Next Travel Destination
“Les voyages forment la jeunesse !” “Travel shapes youth” as the saying goes, and what my grandpa and dad used to tell me. I think traveling keeps us young at heart. My next destination is wherever work or family will bring me, but my bucket list includes Japan, South Korea, Hawaii, South America, and overseas French territories.
