PIESL provides placement and proficiency testing to existing and potential students through our partnership with TOEFL. The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) institutional test (itp) is administered at the beginning of each semester to place new students into language classes and again near the middle and end of each semester to determine future placement or admission to UNL degree programs.
