Chancellor Bennett celebrates International Education Week
Chancellor Rodney Bennett speaks on the importance of International Education Week and encourages attendance at a variety of events open to students, faculty and staff. With the goal of sharing cultures, exploring new perspectives and preparing students for an increasingly globalized work force, International Education Week is an opportunity to reflect and celebrate with UNL's global community. Use the hashtag #IEWatUNL to show us how you are celebrating!
What is International Education Week?
International Education Week is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. A joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education, it showcases programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn and exchange experiences in the United States. The annual event also highlights international diversity and promotes the opportunity to experience new cultures. To learn more about IEW, visit the Department of State website. Use the hashtag #IEW2024 to join the discussion and learn about upcoming events!
This year, the official celebrations run from November 15 to 22, 2024. Join UNL's celebration with the hashtag #IEWatUNL!
